Class Expectations:

In order to make the most of our education journey, each student is expected to come to class on time ready to both  learn and work. All students should maintain a clean and organized environment. Students will be mindful not to talk during class at inappropriate times.  All work is to be completed on time. Points will be deducted for late work and some late work may not be accepted at all. Parents should be connected to Class Dojo since that is the main form of communication. Students will respect each other and the classroom.

Communmication : Parents should be connected to Class Dojo since that is the main form of communication.  In the event of an emergency, please contact the main office.  Also, parents should be connected to PowerSchool to monitor student progress.

Student work: Student work will be live during the day. In order to limit after school screen time, homework will look different this year. Assignments will mostly be the reading that students need to do for class, or their reading logs. Most graded assignments will be done during the learning day. **

** this may change as the needs of the class change, or public restrictions change.

Water Bottles:  Students MUST bring in water bottles. If possible, please have students use clear, reusable, plastic bottles.  (Aluminum botles are very loud when the eventually fall on the floor.) There will be no way to refill the bottles. Please send enough water for the day.

Grading Policy For Language Arts and Reading:
