St. Joseph the Carpenter School has a preschool program that believes in the importance of providing an initial foundation for life-long learning. Our program provides an environment where children mature through various aspects: spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. This helps each child develop as a whole. Understanding each child’s individual needs, our curriculum is based upon their unique way of thinking and learning. We recognize and respect the diversity of the children and encourage them to appreciate the similarities and differences in each other and in the world around them.
What makes our program successful is the partnership and close communication with parents/guardians. There is an open ended communication between staff and parents. Parents are informed of daily activities and upcoming events by means of weekly newsletters and informal reminds. The line of communication is always available through telephone calls, emails, and Class Dojo. This support system provides for a successful partnership between parents and teachers which ultimately enhances the progress of each child.
